PATHWAYS TO BUILD GREAT TEAMS, TEAM EFFICIENCY
How to build teams that perform at a higher level than the current one, able to overcome obstacles in order to achieve their results.
At a corporate level, like in any collective sport, nothing can be achieved without teamwork. Teamwork happens when individual contributions (work and talent) aggregate in such a way that they meet the organizational's (and at a lower level, the team's) goals.
But if you're experienced you know - even if you're a new team manager, you will soon know- that a group of people doesn't make a team. Groups and teams are not the same things: you'll agree that gathering ten people in the same room does not make a team at all.
It also happens that sometimes teams become dysfunctional.
Anyway, if you are in charge of making this team an efficient team, an "A" team, then I'll walk you through a proven process
- where you and your team members will have an open and honest discussion, stay accountable, get clear roles, and overcome obstacles in order to achieve results
- that supports you all along the team life cycle – startup, middle, wrap up
- with smart use of data to help team members understand each other, give each other positive advice to be better, and keep improving.
